oh my! Hedwig came and blessed this horrid place of the world called syracuse, ny with her presence! I fell in love with the cast that did it! Aaron Berk played Hedwig and Patrick Finlon on keyboard *drools* I want patrick!!! go to www.syracusestage.org to see! Tonight is the last night it's playing :( I saw it twice already and I want to go back to see again, but.. I'm poor and my mother wont let me *pouts*. This is the best cast! Aaron Berk and S.J. Pickett have amazing voices! I wish I Could go on the road and follow them to wherever they are going next! I hope they come back next year! I AM A NEWLY DEDICATED HEDHEAD!

Why, why, why? Here's London enjoying the show for the first time and it's closing in less than a week. (sob). What will we do....No Micheal, no Elizabeth and NO NATHAN (more sobbing)!
We're gonna miss everyone, and to think we could have really got the audience thing going! Well, we won't have to buy any more roses, that'll save us some money!
Well we've got three more shows to see...and as Hedwig's sort of offical (well Nathan said we could be)! British groupies, we're gonna make them the best ever!

I only got to see Hedwig once and hope the show will return to NY, preferably
to Jane Street, that's the coolest
auditorium in the city, with a bar and all. Hedwig brought out so many emotions in me, and I thought it was the most entertaining and intelligent show I've ever seen. Michael is incredibly talented, and I was in awe during the entire performance. Thank you for the best 1 1/2 hours of my life!

Hi I'm a follow spot op. for the U.K show of Hedwig. It's all going great and i am finding myself truly becoming a......(cunt) fan of Hedwig. Tonight Nathan takes to the stage for the first tme in this role. Michael's been great and deserves a rest.
Attendance has been poor here which is a great shame. It's still early days so i'm not too worried.

Only recently been introduced to Headwig. I'm a Rocky fan, and i have to say headwig is amazing. can't wait to see Nathan as lead.

Oh my god. So i first heard hedwig when my darling friend todd in toronto told me to buy the soundtrack and i thought why not. i went to dress circle (this wonderful musical shop in london) and i got the man who thinks i'm mad to play it to me and i just fell in love. the soundtrack is amazing. the passion, the energy, that goes into it is incredible. my friends are SO fed up with me playing 'origins of love' they may kill me. and now i found out it's coming to london. ARHJSGOOGKV! YEY! People, lift up your hands, hedwig's gonna rock our city just in the same way that rent did and no one could stop me from being there opening night. To Hank (and anyone interested in news about the movie} ... The film is being shot right now, here in the Toronto area. :) Honestly, I hardly know anything about the movie's production, except that (I think) John Cameron Mitchell is playing Hedwig and Andrea Martin (of SCTV fame) plays his mother. I only know this because I did some extra work on the set last week, so I decided to plug in the movie's name into a search engine ... lo and behold, this site came up. Unfortunately, I don't know much about the play except what I read here at the site, but having read about it, I really wish I could have seen the production while it was live. So, all you Hedwig junkies, rest assured the movie is definitely being made. ;)

Recently moved to TX from NJ. Going through Hedwig withdrawl. Lost count after seeing the show over 12 times (including Michael and Miriam's last NY performance & John's return.). Believe it or not- here is how I got here... MY MOTHER of all people, told me about this "Hedwig" event & I never had a chance to see it, but just recently I found the music from the show (& I have to say) I am sooooooo sorry for missing something I may never get to see.
I have an interest in what is going on in the lyrics to the songs- every song is put together well... there is a band that used to be based in NYC that had really caught my attention known as: PSYCHOTICA - I am really in shock that no one has contacted "Pat Briggs"- singer of this band.
I believe he would fit right in with the show.
I do hope in the future - Hedwig & his Angry Inch plan a comeback to NYC... this time I DO PROMISE TO BE THERE!!!

I saw "Hedwig" while it was here in LA. In fact, I waited too long as I ended up catching the final performance. I loved it and was mad at myself for not seeing it sooner. Now I planned to go to NYC to see it and horrors! It's closed! I will forever remember what was the most profound experience I've ever had in a theatre with my clothes on. Long live Hedwig!

Greetings. I saw Hedwig on Saturday (4/8). I can't quite put my finger on why, but the show has touched off many emotions in me. Perhaps relating to feeling lonely, feeling used, feeling like a freak. I have purchased the CD and listened over and over to the remarkable writing and composing. Hi - I'm at work and bored stiff, decided to simply type 'hedwig.com' into the URL and Hey presto.. am SO disappointed that the show has closed. I saw it every time I came to NY last year, which was FOUR times.. couldn't get enough.. dragged boyf. along too (come on Sugar Daddy! woo hoo!) and then he bought me the CD so I can still listen to the sounds... fantastic performances EVERY time... "The Origin of Love" was what got me every time.. what a sad event... I'll keep looking though.. because someday, in some Wicked Little Town somewhere.. it'll be back on.. you can't keep a good thing down. I caught the show Friday night (4/7), last minute thing on a business trip. Got one of the last seats which was obstructed view which kind of bummed me at first until I was overcome with emotion that the location didn't matter at all. I've seen many of the current "Broadway" shows which didn't hold a candle to this. Completely Raw emotion and powerful story. I won't forget it.

I'm one of those New Yorkers who fail to take advantage of the great things, (i.e. "Hedwig") that are easily accessible, but I'm too lazy to walk or hail a cab. But when I heard that the show was unfortunately closing, I bought tix and saw it on April 7, Y2K. I regret that I waited so long to go because now all I want to do is see it again. Matt McGrath was Excellent. The music, finally heard live was an Incredible Experience. Thanks to John Cameron Mitchell whom I've loved since "The Secret Garden." I wait eagerly for the film. I hope that someone who reads this can help me out. I want to know the brand and color of lipstick, gloss, liner that Hedwig wore. Her lips were sparkling, as was her performance. I'll always follow Hedwig's voice.

I saw the show last night and I'd just like to say that I hadn't seen a show/play so incredibly uplifting like this one.Who needs Broadway? It's a shame it's closing next week. I'd also like to congratulate you, Matt, for such an outstanding work. Hooray for the band as well. I hope you'll find a new home for Hed and, by the way, I have a feeling it's the "surviving crew" of the Titanic who wants you out of there. But we certainly don't. Keep up the good work.

It is so unfortunate that Hedwig has to close, but I am just so happy that I got the chance to see it....four times :-). I don't know if I'm the only one hoping that Ms Hedwig might one day bring her troupe to London Town. Now obviously the entire script would have to be painstakingly altered. I can say as a Londoner that much of the humour just doesn't make sense to us. But I'd be willing to put the effort in. And find cast, crew, theatre, etc, to put it on in. Dear God please don't let the New York Show close. This show is sooooo utterly amazing. I am planning on getting a group of people to come see the show in July. I will be back again before then too. You stand to make so much $$$ if you keep those live shows coming. Tell me what I have to do to keep this show going and believe me I will rise to the occassion. This show is too important to let it close soo soon. That crappy show "CATS" has had such a long run. Something has to be done to keep Hedwig's Midnight Radio effect rockin' and rollin'

ive seen the show 3 times in the past three months. i heard the show was going to close the last time i saw it but thank g-d it didnt. something told me to buy tickets for april and im so happy i did. im so upset that the show is going to close. it is the best show out there. everytime i hear origin of love i think of matt performing it and it brings tears to my eyes knowing that its closing. people who didnt see it really do not know what there missing. its a shame that such an amazing show is being closed. long live hedwig!!!
