Miniature worlds. Tiny stage sets. Your very own rabbit hole to fall into.
I noticed a theme in the photographs I enjoyed taking.
I noticed that whether a small, darkened room or a wide sunlit vista, the photos I took all seemed to say, "Come in and rest awhile."
At least to me.
I decided to try to capture that feeling, to make it "real".
The result is the PhotoStrata.
This process allows me to break apart my photographs into layers, strata, based on their visual distance from the viewer.
These layers are then printed onto individual sheets and mounted into a frame, constructing a virtual 3-dimensional world of the photograph.
