What kind of kids are you raising?

very tall ones, time passes quickly, too quickly.
in Philip’s Middle School year book last year I used the phrase “Tachyon time flying by”–he is a physics geek, and I just love the poetry of those words, though in relation to the kids it is bittersweet.

as for Epcot–they love it, but prefer a mix of the thrills of MISSION SPACE, Test Track and Soaring along with World Showcase.

Hey maryellen! Hope you have a great time down there. It’s nice to get a break from life sometimes. I can’t imagine, however, how anyone could pass up the opportunity to head to EPCOT! What kind of kids are you raising? Well I guess it works out just fine for you so no harm, no foul.

Kirk!
Guess where I am off to on Sunday?
Well, first Richmond, and then road trip to DisneyWorld for some fun with some ladies I meet down there once or twice per year. We always hit Food and Wine one trip, and try for Flower and Garden in the Spring.
It is a great break from the usual mom-and-volunteer thing, and the kids are never jealous because they think there is no fun in “walking around EPCOT eating appetizers”.
Anyway, it was quite the surprise to check in here tonight and get a preview of next week.

One quibble: we don’t “Listen to the Land” anymore, we’re now “Living With the Land”. Personally I preferred to listen, but OK, whatever. I’ll muster up the energy to do a food review sometime soon.
